Type Ia Supernovae

Synopsis:

Supernovae likelihoods.

This code provides various supernova likelihoods, with and without calibration.

Usage

To use any of these likelihoods, simply mention them in the likelihoods block (e.g. sn.pantheonplus), or add them using the input generator.

Installation

This likelihood can be installed automatically as explained in Installing cosmological codes and data.

Available internal likelihoods

sn.desy5:
  Likelihood for DES-Y5 type Ia supernovae sample.

sn.jla:

sn.pantheon:
  Likelihood of the Pantheon type Ia supernova sample \cite{Scolnic:2017caz},
  including data from the Pan-STARRS1 (PS1) Medium Deep Survey.

sn.pantheonplus:
  Likelihood for Pantheon+ (without SH0ES) type Ia supernovae sample.
